structural proteomics

We employ the Cross-Linking Mass Spectrometry (XL-MS) approach to elucidate the structures of proteins, various protein forms and complexes. This method is grounded in the chemical cross-linking of two specific amino acids on proteins with a cross-linker. The known length and mass spectrometry features of these linkers provide valuable structural insights into proteins.  Applied to large and dynamic protein systems, this method advances our comprehension of the protein and complex structures, including their protein-protein interactions (PPIs). Capturing proteins in their native environment enables a profound understanding of the spatial organization and conformational behavior, contributing to elucidating these essential biological processes.
